Answer: Hypnosis works by relaxing the conscious mind and accessing the subconscious mind, which is where our beliefs and habits are stored. With the help of a trained hypnotherapist, individuals can reprogram their subconscious mind to change their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Is hypnosis real?

Answer: Yes, hypnosis is a real phenomenon that has been scientifically proven to be effective for a variety of purposes, including pain management, anxiety reduction, and smoking cessation.

What is hypnosis most commonly used for?

Hypnosis is most commonly used for quitting smoking or vaping, weight loss, reducing anxiety, managing stress, handling chronic pain, improving sleep,  enhancing performance, overcoming phobias and fears, improving memory, recall, and confidence, and test performance or exam taking success.

Can everyone be hypnotized?

Answer: Yes, almost everyone can be hypnotized and have success with hypnosis. Levels of suggestibility varies from person to person. Some individuals may be more resistant to hypnosis than others – the most important factor is the honest desire to engage in hypnosis and to have a positive outcome.

Is hypnosis safe?

Answer: Yes, hypnosis is safe when performed by a trained and experienced hypnotherapist. However, individuals with certain mental health conditions such as bi-polar or scizophrenia should not undergo hypnosis without consulting with their healthcare provider.

What does hypnosis feel like?

Can hypnosis help with anxiety?

Can hypnosis help with depression?

Answer: Hypnosis can be a helpful adjunct to traditional therapy for individuals with depression. However, it should not be used as a sole treatment for depression. In addition, we use a number of hypnotic and other mind-body techniques, training and tools to assist clients to eliminate insomnia and get consistent deep, restful sleep. 

How many hypnosis sessions are needed?

Answer: The number of hypnosis sessions needed can vary depending on the individual and the purpose of the sessions. Some individuals may see results after just one or two sessions, while others may require several sessions to achieve their desired outcome.
